It’s day 3 of National Invasive Species Awareness Week 💐💗!

Today, make plans to go to a native plant sale with your friends or family. Achievable goals are the best kind, so to make it easy, I have added below a list of a couple nurseries that either focus entirely on native plants or that have a native plant section. Or just keep these names in mind next time you are looking for new plants or flowers!

I love using the IFAS plant directory (https://plants.ifas.ufl.edu/) to research info on native and invasive plants. Try it out if you have any questions about plants in our area!

Here are some native plant nurseries in my area (South Florida):

• B the Change Native Plants
• Giverny Gardens (look for plants marked native)
• Pinder’s Nursery (look for the native section)
• Florida Native Plant Society –> often have plant “swaps” or plant “shares” at meetings!
